Jennifer Coolidge Got ‘The Best D*** Of Her Life’ After She Did American Pie

Jennifer Coolidge has revealed the best lover she got after she shot to fame with the infamous role of Stifler’s mom in American Pie.

That film focuses on the lives of four high school friends who make a pact to lose their virginities before prom night, with many hilarious disasters along the way.

It’s hard to forget the infamous NSFW pie scene after which the movie was named, no matter how much you’d want to.

Coolidge first starred in the teen comedy movie in 1999, playing the role of Stifler’s mom – a Mrs. Robinson-type character who engages in a romantic escapade with her son’s friend, Paul Finch.

After the famous role, the 61-year-old appeared in multiple comedic roles, including starring in movies such as Legally Blonde, American Pie 2, A Cinderella Story, and Date Movie.

Chart-topping singer Ariana Grande has been open about her love for Coolidge, even having her star in her ‘Thank U, Next’ music video as her original character from Legally Blonde.

Recently the duo came back together once again for an Entertainment Weekly interview – where Coolidge spills the beans on the best lover she had after starring in American Pie.

“You’ve spoken publicly about the tremendous impact that playing Stifler’s mom has had on your life. In particular, how much d*** it’s gotten you,” Grande, 29, said to Coolidge.

“Do you remember the best d*** you got from playing Stifler’s mom? Do you keep in touch?”

“By the way, I don’t mean to impose. No pressure to share the details,” she added.

“No, I’m glad you asked this because you see, I did say that jokingly [in a previous Variety interview earlier this year] and, God, you really can’t make jokes in our town, because I did make the terrible mistake of saying, ‘Thank God for that movie, I got to sleep with 200 men,’ or whatever. And look, I would love to say that was true, but I mean, that was sort of an exaggeration – so I’m glad you’re asking me,” Coolidge replied.

She continued by adding that she can now “clear the air” about her past flings, saying her role as Stifler’s mom allowed her to “open up the world to a much broader group of handsome men – and younger men” as romantic interests.

When remembering the best lover she’d had, Coolidge said: “This one guy was particularly young – legal, of course, it was all very legal.”

“I won’t get into the details. But afterwards, the next morning, I told him I needed to get a blow dry. So he was so young, we called his mother to see where I could get a blow dry. It was so weird that happened on the phone, it was very clear that we were in the bed together,” she revealed.

During her interview, Coolidge also told Grande that among her recent roles, her widely praised role as Tanya McQuoid in HBO Max’s The White Lotus – has felt much more rewarding.

She noted that she had never been given a role like McQuoid – a woman who Coolidge says is a very “complicated and messed up person.”

Coolidge has also been nominated for a Critic’s Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series as McQuoid, per Critic’s Choice.
